High School Youth group / Grupo de Jovenes
Welcome to the high school youth group page! All high school students, from grades 9-12, are invited to join us for faith, community, and fun in the Carroll Center at 7:00 PM on Wednesday nights! Our mission is to help our youth to personally encounter the Lord and to provide a space for that relationship to flourish and deepen through the rich tradition of the Catholic Church. ¡Bienvenidos a la página del grupo de jóvenes de la escuela secundaria! ¡Todos los estudiantes de la secundaria, de los grados 9-12, están invitados a unirse a nosotros para la fe, la comunidad y la diversión en el Centro Carroll a las 7:00 PM los miércoles por la noche! Steven Couch - High school youth ministerMy name is Steven Couch. I was born here in Carrollton, Georgia and I have been a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help my whole life. My parents are Thomas and April Couch, I have an older sister, Savannah, as well as a younger brother, Scott. I graduated from Central High School in 2018 after which I was accepted as a seminarian for the Archdiocese of Atlanta. I then went to Saint Joseph Seminary College in Saint Benedict, Louisiana where I earned my B.A. in Philosophy. After spending some time in major seminary, the Lord revealed to me that He was calling me away from the seminary. I am very excited to serve our parish community through this new role and may Our Lady place all of our intentions at the foot of Her Son.
Mi nombre es Steven Couch. Nací aquí en Carrollton, Georgia y he sido feligrés de Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro toda mi vida. Mis padres son Thomas y April Couch, tengo una hermana mayor, Savannah, así como un hermano menor, Scott. Me gradué de Central High School en 2018, después de lo cual fui aceptado como seminarista de la Arquidiócesis de Atlanta. Luego fui a Saint Joseph Seminary College en Saint Benedict, Louisiana, donde obtuve mi B.A. en Filosofía. Después de pasar algún tiempo en el seminario mayor, el Señor me reveló que me estaba llamando a dejar el seminario. Estoy muy emocionado de servir a nuestra comunidad parroquial a través de este nuevo rol y que Nuestra Señora ponga todas nuestras intenciones a los pies de Su Hijo.
